Studies show your headache could be just what the bedroom asked for.

It’s a fact that when most people get a headache or even one worse, like a migraine headache, the last thing you want to do is anything. Most will stop at nothing short of putting a drill to their head to relieve the pressure.

A migraine headache is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. They have long been studied and researched in the medical community, but to the dismay of many migraine sufferers, there is no clear-cut cause for the disease. However, there seems to be a general consensus that the key element is blood flow changes in the brain; migraine suffers appear to have blood vessels that overreact to various triggers.

In a recent study conducted by the journal, Headache, researchers found surprising results when they tested the theory that migraine and sexual desire may both be associated with serotonin—a powerful chemical agent that induces or initiates responses in the brain, blood serum and gastric mucous membrane.

Lead researcher Dr. Timothy T. Houle of the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, notes that although it is commonly believed that sex drive is reduced by headaches and sexual intercourse can cause specific types of headaches, more and more research is beginning to show that sexual intercourse may alleviate the pain of migraine in some patients due to increased levels of serotonin to the brain. There goes the excuse of "not tonight honey, I have a headache."

Houle and his team of researchers recruited 59 adults who had at least 10 headaches annually. Among them, seven men and 16 women were classified as having migraines, while the rest (18 men and 18 women) had tension-type headaches. Migraine sufferers have stronger sexual desire than people who get only normal tension headaches. It was hypothesized that a serotonergic link may be implicated in both migraine headaches and sexual desire. Serotonin receptors also appear to be involved in several aspects of sexual functioning.

Lorna McLaren, an expert in communication, stress and the human factor and a facilitator says exercise is also one way to release headache tension.

"Absolutely sex has a positive effect," said McLaren. "It only takes 7 to 10 minutes of cardio to change the chemicals in your brain, release endorphins and physically and emotionally feel better. Sex is exercise, and as humans we intuitively need to connect with others. What better way than in a loving, sexual experience."

Until more research is conducted, couples suffering from migraine can experiment in the bedroom and conduct their own research or wait until Houle and his research team is finished focusing on their next task which is mathematical modeling to predict migraine activity. It is what most married men want to know - how to get more sex. But the answer may well be enough to dampen their ardour: do the housework.

Dusting, vacuuming and even taking out the rubbish are the best ways to rekindle the marital flame, according to a US study of family life.

"Equitable sharing of housework is associated with higher levels of marital satisfaction - and sometimes more sex too," said Joshua Coleman, a psychologist and a senior Fellow at the Council on Contemporary Families, which commissioned the report. "Wives report greater feelings of sexual interest and affection for husbands who participate in housework."

Scott Coltrane, a sociologist at the University of California and a coauthor of the report, agrees. "By and large, the more men do around the house the happier women are. We sociologists generally don’t go there, but therapists say there’s a correlation."

The revelation will not come as a surprise to women, who have long fantasised about lovers who do the housework. A US group called the Cambridge Women’s Pornography Cooperative recently published a book titled Porn for Women, which features pictures of hunky apron-clad men doing such everyday tasks as hoovering the house.

Heather Peterson, of the cooperative, said that men who engaged in "chore-play" were likely to get more sex. "We are so excited that the studies are giving us data to back up what we knew all along," she said.

The study rejects the conventional wisdom that, despite gains in education, work, and politics, women face a "stalled revolution" at home. Women in Britain may find it hard to believe, but time-use studies in the US suggest that men’s contribution to housework has doubled since the 1960s from about 15 per cent to more than 30 per cent of the total. Over the same time, the average working mother has cut her weekly housework by two hours.

"There has been a growing convergence in the hours that women and men spend in the broad categories of paid work, family work and leisure," the study says. "Women’s paid work time has significantly increased, while that of men has decreased. Correspondingly, women’s time devoted to housework has decreased, while the time men spend in family work of all kinds has increased."

Men have tripled the amount of time they spend on childcare since the mid1960s, and women also spend more time with their children.

It’s a situation which is becoming reality for some of the poorest students. Last month France’s education minister promised to increase financial support after the diary of a first-year student and a book of interviews with undergrads detailed their personal experiences of prostitution.

A study of online pornography has found that Britain is increasingly witnessing record numbers of people, both men and women, downloading pornographic material from the Internet, and spending millions on sexual imagery and voyeurism.

According to new figures, four-out-of-ten men visited porn Web sites in the past year; and a same number of them downloaded porn in the past month; while the level of users jumped from two million to nine million in just six years.

A survey by Nielsen NetRatings disclosed that women are among the fastest growing users of pornography on the Internet, with a 30 percent rise from one million to 1.5 million in the past 12 months.

The figures also show that more than half of all children, about seven million, have encountered pornography on the Internet while looking for something else.

Some specialists welcomed these figures, saying that they show Britons have a more liberated attitude towards sex. However, others warned that the search for graphic images of sex acts is contributing to break-ups in relationships. British experts claim that as many as 40 percent couples who have problems, believe pornography to have contributed to their difficulties.

Some others like Philip Hodson of the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy, warned that virtual sex is making some men too lazy to bother with the real thing. Hodson said that the Internet has made sex-lazy men even more sex-lazy, wherein they get lost in their own world. Hodson cited that earlier it was said that men neglected foreplay, and that now they are neglecting sex.

Serial streaker Mark Roberts, 42, avoided an order banning him from exposing himself at public events when a judge in Liverpool, north-west England, ruled on a police application.

Over the years, Roberts has stripped off at events including Golf’s Ryder Cup, the Uefa and European Cup football finals, the Super Bowl in the United States and, more chillingly, the Winter Olympics in Italy.

Unfortunately we have had to remove all the adult dvd’s from our site so that we can keep our paypal account. We think that its easier all round if we have a paypal account available for our customers for the foreseeable future so have bowed to pressure and removed all our DVD’s. The reason we had to act was because a customer had tried to buy a DVD from us through paypal and they had suspended our account and the only way they would reopen it was if we removed the "offending items".

Well we may bring them back sometime in future but for now you will have to get them elsewhere or stick to what Blockbuster has to offer!

The way it works.

When our supplier has an item go out of stock it is updated on our site so that we can no longer sell it. This is done by removing the item from our site temporarily. Once our supplier gets the item back in stock its then re-added to our site.

If you’re looking for a particular item that you want and can’t find it on our site you can do any of the following three things :

Email us and ask if we have it and when it will be back in stock.

Keep checking back until its back in stock.
